House Bill 6003 seeks to close the Free Kill loophole by extending rights to parents and adult children to sue for medical negligence resulting in death. HB 6003 has passed both the House Civil Justice & Claims Subcommittee and the Judiciary Committee with overwhelming majorities. 2026 will be a year for justice.
